510 Fulham Road · SW6
Modern European cooking, made from scratch in a room small enough that the chef plating your food is the one you can see from your table. Breakfast through to dinner.
The room
Manuka Kitchen has been on Fulham Road since 2012. Terrazzo underfoot, tan leather banquettes, brass lamps, fresh flowers on the tables and the day's dishes chalked up on the board behind them.
The kitchen is open to the room, so nothing is reheated out of sight. Everything is made from scratch, the menu changes monthly with the season, and the dishes people come back for stay exactly where they are.
With twenty-four covers the room fills quickly, particularly at weekends. Booking ahead is the safer bet, though walk-ins are always worth a try.

Suppliers
Four of the people the kitchen buys from, most of them within walking distance.
A local independent bakery, hand-making fresh organic sourdough daily.
Generations of West London butchery, with an emphasis on grass-fed meat from responsible farms. This is the beef in the bolognese.
A family-owned butcher in Fulham. The bavette is grass-fed from the Scottish Lowlands and Borders; the free-range chicken comes from the Nash family at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk.
One hundred per cent free-range eggs from Ventonwym Farms in the Cornish countryside.
